About Us
Early in the summer of 2006 two ardent Spurs fans were disappointed to discover that there was not a single podcast dedicated to their beloved club. They had no choice but to throw caution to the wind and create their own. With the help of a cheap USB microphone and some hastily-acquired recording skills, the world famous Cock on Ball show was born.
Dave and Scott have been Spurs fans even longer than they have been friends and – despite starkly contrasting opinions on the virtues of the League of Gentlemen and the appeal of ‘the brown kit’ – do manage to find some sort of middle ground when discussing football.
Dave has a small family of chaffinches nesting in his mono-brow. His favourite Spurs memory is Ronnie Rosenthal’s hat-trick against Southampton although in the playground he would always pretend to be Glenn Hoddle. Dave finds it suspicious that Scott and Christopher Eccleston have never been seen in the same room together.
Scott is lanky and enjoys sausages. His first Spurs game was a Vinny Samways-inspired 2-1 victory over Arsenal in 1989. Along with 0.01% of the population he can neither wink nor whistle. Scott has always thought that Dave looks a lot like a badger.
