Welcome to our forum!
While we don't want to rule this place with an iron fist, there are just one or two guidelines we've put in place so that the forum remains pleasant for everyone.
Language
We don’t expect everyone to write perfectly, but out of respect for fellow forum users we do ask you to write as clearly as you can.
Please do not use TXT SPK or L33t, or WRITE IN ALL CAPS.
Please take care to craft your subject lines so they are clear, and show exactly what the thread is about.
Our podcast has an ‘explicit’ tag. This is so that we can express our views freely, without holding back. We want you to feel the same way here, so the managers will not edit or delete posts simply because the language is rude.
That said, we would encourage you to remember that this forum is open to Spurs fans of all ages, so please try not to use bad language just for the sake of it. Save it for when you really need it!
RESPECT
Abuse of other forum users of any kind will not be tolerated, and posts that do this will be deleted. We appreciate sometimes discussions will get heated, but please remain respectful to other users, even if you do not agree with their views.
This same rules extends to the wider Spurs online community i.e. members of other forums and in particular ITKs (those claiming to be ‘In The Know’).
You are of course welcome (and encouraged) to agree or disagree with anything said, but the same rules about respect applies in these cases, so be ready to back up any views you have. Baseless abuse and accusations may result in post deletion or even a ban.
Linking and quoting
Please do not post any links to adult/pornographic material on the forum. This will result in an instant ban.
Feel free to link or quote material from other forums, but please remain respectful to the wider community, and be truthful about where the info has come from.
The bottom line
We’re all Spurs fans, not Gooners, so we should be able to discuss things like grown-ups.
We desperately do not want this to be a forum where people feel oppressed or limited by the rules – in fact we’d prefer never to have to mention them again. Common sense should really be the only rule necessary, and as you’ve already chosen this as a site you wish to post on, you’ve already passed the common sense test!
So enjoy the forum!
